• Drop Off:  f you drop your student off in the morning before school, please have them exit at any point along the front sidewalk rather than waiting until your vehicle is at the front of the drop-off line.  This will help maintain the traffic flow and allow for students to get to class on time.  The front vestibule doors will now open for students being dropped off at 8:20 am.  Once dropped off, students should report to the Gym.  All additional student entrance doors will be open for students at 8:35 am   Note: The building will not be accessible nor will there be supervision for your child prior to the times mentioned above. 

• Pick Up: If you plan to pick your child up at the end of the day,  please remember to bring a photo ID when you come into the building to sign them out. (Note: This process has changed from last year’s protocol)  The after-school sign-out area will be located in the Gym.  Parents will need to park in the parking lot, enter through the Ryan building main entrance, proceed to the gym, locate their student’s sign-out table, and then sign their students out.  Parents and students will then exit through the double doors towards the back of the gym. There will be staff members at each table to assist you with the sign-out process.  The Ryan doors will open for parents at 3:40 pm.  Note:  Any parent/persons who are planning to pick up students at the end of the day will need to wear a mask while in the building.  Thank you for your cooperation ahead of time as we follow the Kalamazoo County Health Order. 

• If you have a student at Richland Elementary that you pick up at the end of the day, please exit the Ryan Int parking lot, proceed to the four-way stop on Ryan Drive, and then drive straight through back to the light on M-89.  I misinformed several parents last week regarding this routine.  We should not be using the service road in front of the Middle School to get to Richland El.

• If you are going home or driving out to pick up a student at Kellogg Elementary please exit the Ryan Parking lot, drive to the four-way stop, and then exit right through the HS parking lot.  This will take you out to 34th street and from there you can either take a left or right to get to your destination.
