Dual Enrollment

Welcome to Dual Enrollment

Dual Enrollment is the opportunity for high school students to enroll in a college course as part of their school day.

Below are some general steps that you may encounter when enrolling for Dual Enrollment.

The first, most important step is making sure you have enrolled with GLVP! Once you have enrolled in GLVP, talk to you advisor for more specific steps relative to your college of choice.

Steps for Dual Enrollment

After completing the GLVP Dual Enrollment Agreement, the next step is to apply for the college of your choice.

Students may choose from any degree program offered through the college or university that best meets the individual’s skill, aptitude, and/or interests. Gull Lake Dual Enrollment and Early College students are required to meet with a college counselor each semester to discuss their program of study (or pathway). The student may change his/her pathway as skills, aptitude or interests change.

High School students may participate with other colleges in the State of Michigan, outside of the three mentioned here, upon the approval of the GLVP Counselor/Advisor.
