Special Education Teacher Consultant

I have been working in education for many years and thoroughly enjoy working with Middle School students and their families.  I support students with Individual Education Plans, as well as their teachers and families.  Additionally, I work on specific goals related to academic needs and support students within their classrooms.  I also work closely with teachers, parents, and administration to assist students and coordinate services.

I earned both my Bachelor’s Degree and my Master's Degree in Special Education from Western Michigan University.  I have spent many years of my career in the classroom teaching students with special needs.  I recently transitioned within the last few years to my current position of Teacher Consultant for Special Education Services, and have enjoyed all aspects of my career.
