Bienvenidos! Welcome to Spanish class at Gull Lake High School. I have been a Spanish teacher at Gull Lake for many years after I graduated from K College and then from Western Michigan University with my masters in Spanish Literature. I have a wonderful family and love to travel with them and with the Spanish Club on many adventures! Our last adventure was to Costa Rica where we hiked to watch sea turtles on the beach, white water rafted like pros and zip lined across a jungle like spider monkeys. Our next adventure will take us to Italy and Spain in June 2019. If you would like information about this great adventure please email me and I will be very glad to pass it along.
I am glad to provide extra help and can help students almost every day before school in room 2410. Other times and possibilities are available upon request. This will be such an exciting year in Spanish!
During the school year I also coordinate both Spanish Club and Volunteens. Volunteens are very active in our school and we help in many capacities. We meet every other Monday in room 2410 and help with such events as Rotary Spaghetti Dinner, Halloween at the Gospel Mission, Festival of the Trees, the Pasta for Patients for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and so many more! Please show up and get involved!
Spanish Club is super active and fun and we announce upcoming activities in class. Also, information for our upcoming Spain and Italy trip is available in room 2400 or by email.
