GLHS Orientation Dates

• 12th Grade:  Tuesday, August 18 | drop in from 1:00 PM to 3 PM
   
• 9th Grade:  Tuesday,  August 18 | 6 PM to 9 PM  Presentations begins promptly at 6 PM
  • at 6pm, parents/guardians will report to the GL Center for the Fine Arts for a meeting with the Principal, Mrs. Poulson
  • at 6pm, students will report to GLHS cafeteria for a meeting with the Assistant Principals, Mr. Hogmire and Mrs. Goodyke
     
• 10th Grade:  Thursday, August 20 | drop in from 9 AM to 11 AM
   
• 11th Grade:  Thursday, August 20 | drop in from 1 PM to 3 PM

At Orientation:

• Receive their class schedule
• Walk their schedule to find classrooms and lockers
• Sign up for clubs and activities
• School counselor will be available for quick questions, if needed
• Student drivers can pick up their parking pass in the main office (if they preregistered)
• Have their school photo taken
  • ALL GLHS students must have their picture taken for our school data base and student ID
  • If your student is not able to attend orientation, Geskus Photographers will be at the GLHS on Friday, September 11, from 8 AM to Noon to take pictures
  • No payment is needed at the time of pictures
  • Students will receive a flyer with a unique code to access their image
  • Within 7 - 10 business days, photos will be available online for viewing and ordering
  • Odered photos will be shipped directly to your home.
