Community Service

This year we had beautiful blue skies for our annual roadside cleanup with the Rotary Club. What a wonderful way to participate in beautifying our community and getting to know our Rotarians.,

We are happy to be partnering with the Cheff Center and Richland Elementary to assist with the Read and Ride program. Our students act as mentors to younger students and lead horses while the young students ride.

Many of our students has the opportunity to enjoy our beautiful fall weather with our community members while raking leaves for local senior citizens.

Together with our friends at Beacon Point, we had the opportunity to carve and decorate pumpkins for Halloween.

We have jumped into the 22-23 school  year with both feet on the Community Service front! We have started several new projects in the community that we are very excited about!

We are looking forward to teaching technology at the RACC again. Jilisa Williams came to complete an orientation with students who want to participate.

Twice a week we will be hanging out at the playground at Ryan Intermediate, spending time with students and helping to keep the playground safe.

Community Service

Due to Covid, we have decided to do more community service projects in house. We are partnering with Barry Gray of Real Hope program to make masks to send to Haiti. Our students are learning to use a sewing machine, make masks, and perfect patience. Thank you very much to Amy DeYoung and Lisa Burchett of our transportation department for purchasing three sewing machines for our students to use. Your generosity is humbling.
