Carole Mendez is an experienced corporate attorney working in a global legal organization and has lived in the District since 2006. Carole holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University School of Law. She serves on the MSU Kellogg Biological Station Director's Advisory Board and previously served on the Board of Directors for the Hospital Hospitality House of Southwest Michigan. Carole is also affiliated with the Junior League of Kalamazoo, past president of the Junior League of Annapolis, and a native of Battle Creek. She and her husband, Juan, have three children.

Brad Bagley and his wife, Jessica Bagley, are former graduates of Gull Lake Community Schools (Class of 2000). They have 3 daughters, Jadie, Maci, and Darby, they are current students at Gull Lake. Brad has achieved an Associate's Degree from KVCC and attended WMU in pursuit of a Teaching Degree. In addition to being a stay at home dad, he is a registered official with the MHSAA (Soccer and Basketball) and a NISOA registered official (College Soccer). Brad is also a soccer coach with Midwest United FC.  He and his family belong to Northbridge Community Church. Brad volunteers his time between church, soccer, and his daughter's schools. Brad is also a co-founder of the Silver Bags Jeep Club.

Lin Marklin is an instructor at Kellogg Community College and a small business owner. Her professional career in post-secondary education has included an emphasis in educational technology and teaching excellence. She is a certified online instructor through the Michigan Virtual Learning Collaborative. Lin has served on the Technology Committee and the Online Course Development Committee at Kellogg Community College. She is a member of the Michigan Association of Computer Users in Learning, Michigan Foster Parent Association, and Michigan Education Association. She and her husband have been foster parents since 1997. Lin holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Education from MSU, Master of Science in Rhetoric and Technical Communication from MTU as well as two Masters of Art from WMU, one in Communication and one in Educational Technology.

Dr. Mini Paulose-Murphy works for General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT). She received a Master of Science degree in Clinical Microbiology from Long Island University and a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from Western Michigan University. She received her postdoctoral training at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, M.D. conducting research in virology. She and her husband, Kelly, have lived in Richland for over ten years. They have three daughters currently attending the Gull Lake Community Schools.  Dr. Paulose-Murphy actively volunteers in the schools and has coached Girls on the Run and Odyssey of the Mind, and serves on the Grants Committee for the Gull Lake Community Schools Foundation.

Jeff Brown is currently the State Director for Communities In Schools of Michigan, the nations leading drop-out prevention program. Prior to that he was Executive Director of the Kalamazoo Poverty Reduction Initiative, Health and Wellness Center Director at the Sherman Lake YMCA and Director of Housing and Student Activities at Grand Valley State University. He and his wife Sandy Game owned and operated businesses for 22 years in Gull Lake, Portage and Lansing.  He has served on the Gull Lake Performing Arts Foundation Board, Kalamazoo Literacy Council, Richland Area Community Center, Louis Walker Institute, Freedom Schools and National League of Cities Peer Poverty Network leadership Boards. Jeff and Sandy have lived in Richland since 1980. Their three adult children Sean, Jesse and Hanna Game-Brown are all Gull Lake graduates. They have one grandson, Sebastian Game-Brown.

Laura Zervic and her husband, Christopher, have lived in Richland since 2005.  They have two children, Charlotte and Cooper, who are students in the Gull Lake Community Schools.  Laura is an active volunteer in the community and in the schools.  Laura has served as the President of the GLCS Fine Arts Foundation since 2015.  She has served as the Treasurer of the GLMS PTSO since 2017.  Laura is also the Director of the Talent Shows at the Ryan Intermediate School and the GLMS.  Laura earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Cincinnati, and a Juris Doctor from the John Marshall Law School.  Laura worked as an Advertising, Promotions and Food Attorney for over twenty years before deciding to leave the work force to devote more time to her family and her community.

Eddie Keene and his wife Sue have lived in the district since 2010, and their three children have graduated and benefited from the diverse educational opportunities offered by Gull Lake Community Schools.  Eddie is a mechanical engineer who began his career as an energy management consultant for military bases. He is now a senior director at Kellogg, and during his years with the company has worked at its manufacturing facilities in Memphis and Omaha. Eddie also has managed Kellogg's Louisville, Cincinnati, and Battle Creek manufacturing facilities. Eddie and his family enjoy many outdoor activities. He is a dedicated blood donor and has lent his expertise to volunteer activities such as noise reduction within hearing-impaired classrooms, youth sports coaching, Grad Bash fund raising, Robotics, and Scouting.
