Regular school hours - 7:35 a.m. to 2:31 p.m.
Half day dismissal - 11:13 a.m.
Early Release dismissal - 1:15 p.m.  
 
*The Gull Lake Home School Partnership is a program of Gull Lake Community Schools and is available to all students residing within Kalamazoo County and all school districts that are contiguous to Kalamazoo County. All classes in the partnership, the traditional school, K12 and Gateway Academy are available to all students enrolled with Gull Lake Schools.

 Welcome Mrs. Maring!
 
picture of Carmen Maring Carmen Maring will be joining Gull Lake Middle School as building principal in 2016-2017.  She was employed previously   in the district as the Assistant Principal at Thomas M. Ryan Intermediate.  Carmen recently earned her doctorate from       Michigan State University in Educational Leadership.  She is excited to be working with middle school students, staff, and   families in the upcoming year.

6th Grade Band Meeting 
Monday, August 22 at 7 pm in the Gull Lake Middle School Cafeteria
 
Representatives from Meyer Music in Kalamazoo to bring instruments with them so families can begin the rent-to- own process and walk out of the meeting with an instrument. If your family already owns an instrument, please bring it along so it can be checked to make sure it is in proper working order before school begins. Heart & Sole Coaches Needed for 6th, 7th and 8th Graders

Heart & Sole is Girls on the Run’s new program for middle school girls. It is a 10 week program with small teams of 8-12 girls. Heart & Sole creates a positive, structured space for middle school girls to learn about themselves, explore new ideas, cultivate empathy, and develop skills that will help them as they move through adolescence and beyond. The curriculum will be provided to you and addresses the whole girl- body, brain, heart, spirit and social connection- and builds important life skills.

Registration begins: 8/22

Program starts: 9/26

Culminates with a 5K on 12/10
