Thanks to the generous support of community members and businesses in the Gull Lake area, the Pathway of Pride is a reality! Gull Lake has a beautiful new entrance into our athletic area where thousands of people from around southwest Michigan have already seen first hand Gull Lake Pride in action!  Come and see for yourself the awesome new concession building, the beautiful iron Gull Lake archway, the flags of all the Wolverine conference schools flying, the spectacular lamp posts that provide a warm glow to the brick walkway extending from the entrance to the spectator stands. See the special tribute American flag dedicated to one of our own students lost in the Sept 11^th tragedy. Take a look at the inscriptions on the bricks that recognize people throughout our community. Listen to the “oohs” and “aahhs” as people realize the dedication of so many people that made this a possibility.         

The Pathway of Pride still needs your help.  The total project cost amounted to $230,180.00 with revenue to date of $196,455.00 leaving a shortfall.  The Gull Lake Band Parents Association and the Gull Lake Sports Boosters have co-signed a loan for $40,000.00 to pay for the final construction costs.  Your help is now needed to help these outstanding groups retire this debt. The fundraising efforts will continue for years to come, first paying off the loan, and then to help support these two groups in their efforts to provide our students with a rewarding school experience. 

You can become an important part of the Gull Lake Community by participating in the Pathway of Pride project.  The Pathway of Pride is an opportunity for you to help improve our school facilities and demonstrate the pride you have in our community and students.  The commemorative pavers are ideal for tributes of appreciation, special occasions, athletic or academic accomplishments, memorials and graduation recognitions.
