Mr. Corstange is completing his seventeenth year with Gull Lake High School. A 1971 graduate of Portage Central High School, Mr. Corstange attended Western Michigan University where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Education in 1975 and a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership in 1980.

Mr. Corstange‘s career in teaching began at Hastings High School where he taught woods, plastic, and metals. He also coached football, basketball, and softball. After seven years he took a position as Assistant Principal at Parchment High school and was Principal of Delton High School from 1985-1991. He began his career at Gull Lake High School and had been employed here for the past seventeen years – the last four as the Principal.

Mr. Corstange has had two sons graduate from Gull Lake High School and still lives in the district. His wife, Jill, is a fifth grade teacher in the Battle Creek Lakeview School District.
